Pola Teeth Whitening – Achieve More Whiter And Brighter Smile

by | Jul 19, 2019 | Teeth Whitening | 0 comments

A brighter, whiter smile is achievable in just 60 minutes of treatment with the Pola teeth whitening system. Dental 266 is proud to offer our patients an effective and efficient method to restore confidence in your smile again. One of our favourite Pola features is its versatility. We can offer our patients both in-chair and take-home whitening options, to best suit your lifestyle needs and budget.

Professional Teeth Whitening For Every Budget

Pola offers a wide range of whitening products and, after a consultation with your friendly dentist he or she will make recommendations on the best course of treatment for you.

If you’re in a big rush and want to achieve maximum whiteness, Pola Office + offers teeth up to six shades whiter, in just 60 minutes of treatment time.

If you only need a whitening treatment to go back two or three shades whiter, Pola Zing will probably be used in conjunction with Pola Day or Night to get you there in 30-45 minutes of treatment.

In the event that you don’t want an in-chair treatment, your dentist will supply you with take-home trays that can be used over a period of five to ten days (or nights) until you have achieved your desired shade of white.

How Does Professional Teeth Whitening Work?

As we get older the dentin inside our teeth starts to become discoloured. Pola’s high concentration teeth bleaching gels have been created to penetrate your tooth enamel, to break up the molecules that have become discoloured or yellow and, to make your teeth whiter and brighter.

Pola’s professional teeth whitening gels are available in strengths ranging from 3% to 37.5%. Generally, the higher the strength of bleach, the faster the product will work.

It is important to note that the highest strength Pola products may only be administered by your dentist. The Pola teeth whitening kit take-home whitening trays usually contain a lower concentration of hydrogen carbamide, so that you can use them safely at home. You will be able to make use of whitening products that contain 10-25% hydrogen peroxide or hydrogen carbamide.

Your Pre-Whitening Consultation

Everyone must have a check-up before going ahead with any whitening. During this check-up your dentist will inspect the condition of your teeth and gums, give you a dental clean and ensure your mouth is free of cavities and decay.

Pola’s shade guide will help your dentist identify what your original tooth colour is. He or she will then work back up the scale to establish what colour you would like your newly white smile to be.

Take-Home Whitening

If you and your dentist decide a take-home kit is the best course of treatment for you, Pola Day and Night will be offered to you. With these products your dentist will create custom-made dental trays that you will wear at home (or while you sleep) for five to ten days. If you’re using Pola Day your treatment is typically 30 to 45 minutes per day.

It is very important to follow your dentist’s advice at home and not exceed the wear time of your trays.

Professional In-Chair Whitening

In-chair whitening does produce the fastest results and after a 60-minute session in your dentist’s chair with Pola Office you can look forward to a smile that is up to six times brighter.

This treatment is ideal for patients who would like their teeth whitened in time for an event or who do not want to whiten their teeth at home.

Touch Ups

With exposure to ingredients that can cause staining, your teeth will not stay pearly white forever and will need to be touched up. Your dentist will discuss Pola Paint with you, and how often you might need to re-apply it to maintain your white smile.

Is Pola Whitening Safe?

When used according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and under the guidance and supervision of your dentist, Pola teeth whitening kit is safe. The bleaching gel contains fluoride to protect and remineralise your teeth as you whiten.
